Defibrillator Packages

Hand on Heart has three simple aims:

• Raise awareness of cardiac arrest in the young
• Fund defibrillators for schools
• Educate and train children how to perform basic life support

As a key focus of our charity we aim to help fund as many defibrillator packages as possible.

We now offer three different defibrillator packages at Bronze, Silver and Gold level.

Gold Package - A semi-automatic defibrillator, training for up to 8 members of staff, a life-saving skills session for up to 30 pupils, training accessories abd teaching resources for students and pupils. Price: £1450 + VAT

Silver Package - A semi-automatic defibrillator and a training session for up to 8 members of staff. Price: £1200 + VAT

Bronze Package - A semi-automatic defibrillator only. Price: £900 + VAT

To apply for funding, simply visit the Nominate a School page and fill out the application form at the bottom with as much information as possible.

Your application will be added to all those received and assessed by our panel of judges who will choose the successful application each month.

The complete Gold Defibrillator Package includes:

• 1 Semi Automatic Defibrillator
• 1 Set of Adult Electrode Pads & 1 Set of Paediatric Pads
• 1 AED battery
• 1 Rescue Kit
• 1 Wall Bracket
• 1 AED Locator Sign
• 1 Little Anne Doll
• 30 Hand on Heart Charity Wristbands
• 1 AED User Course for up to 8 members of staff
• Basic life-saving skills lesson for up to 30 students

 

CPR Training

As part of our program, tying in with our aims, one of our experienced first aid trainers will come to your school and teach a whole class how to save a life by teaching them how to place somebody into the recovery position and how to perform CPR (cardio pulmonary resuscitation) safely, promptly and effectively in just a few hours.

These are valuable life skills which each student could be called upon to use anytime, at home, at school or out with friends.

It may even be the most important lesson they are ever going to learn at school!
