Our 4th UK Heart Safe Awards was heldon Friday the 9th of October 2015 at The Midland Hotel in Manchester.

The UK Heart Safe Awards is the UK's first nationwide awards competition to celebrate organisations and employers who invest in creating Heart Safe environments as well as the acts of individuals who have saved lives while at work or leisure. Hand on Heart's aim is to raise awareness of sudden cardiac arrest in the young and to teach children to save lives and equip schools with life-saving defibrillators.

Hosting the UK Heart Safe Awards allows us to recognise and acknowledge those who have already invested in this life-saving equipment and helps to increase awareness of the charity and its goal, as well as fundraising for Hand on Heart.

This year’s Awards saw more guests attending than previous years and gained the support of individuals and organisations nationwide. Fundraising efforts on the evening were significant and will help to fund defibrillators and training for schools in the UK and will help to raise awareness of Hand on Heart Charity and their aims to create more Heart Safe environments in the UK.

Images and details of the winners can be found below, we'd like to send huge congratulations to all winners and finalists who truly deserved the recognition they received for their efforts and determination in making a change to the statistics which surround sudden cardiac arrest.

The full album for the evening can be seen on the gallery below.
